Reuse old transducer

Hello,
We have the old "Airmar B744" transducer still installed, and are installing a Furuno TZTL12F. Furuno's compatibility matrix says it is compatible for ACCU-FISH, Bottom Discrimination, and RezBoost.

How is it interfaced with the chart plotter. Is there an adapter that is needed?

If the 744V was on a Furuno prior it will have a 10 pin transducer connector. The TZT2 internal sounder offers that same matching connector so it is plug and play. If the transducer came off another brand; you will need to cut off the old connector and wire up a 10 pin pigtail cable (color for color). The 10 pin pigtail is part number AIR-033-333.
