Hello!

I have a r509lh transducer connected to a dFF3, Airmar says that for high frequency and low frequency I should select tap C and furuno recommends tap B.
Ask:
What is the best Tap to select for the best performance?

And I have connected this DFF3 to a Navnet touchtz2 (TZTL12F), another question:

How to setup the sounder frecuency on my TZTL12F low and high and the type of transducer? The person who installed the equipment selected:

Type of transducer: 28BL - 12HR
High frequency: 28BL - 12HR
Low frequency:28BL - 12HR
But I things is wrong because the sounder is not working properly.

Thanks in advance.

You need to be on Tap-B for both the high and low frequencies.

Go into the Fish Finder menu and ensure that DFF3 is selected as your source.
Then go to the Transducer Setup Menu within the Fish Finder menu.
Transducer Setup Type - Manual (I highly recommend starting with the following settings)
High Freq - 130 kHz
Band Width HF - 20 (should default to this)
Low Freq - 45 kHz
Band Width LF - 5 (should default to this)

The rest of the info under that will show the range that you will be able to slew the frequencies to get the best returns.
It should end up at 42-47 for low and 119-140 for high.
