Sounder and radar screens function normally, however when chart page is open, entire screen turns white every 20-30 seconds and stays that way for 2-3 seconds. Unit is an LED VX2 C-map version running the latest software. Card is 2016 C-Map M022 USA EAST & Bahamas mSD with standard adapter. Any thoughts?

These units are much older and can't be compared to our newer products with zero redraw. What you are seeing is a chart redraw of the screen. It is occurring more often than you would like because you possibly have your unit set for "Auto course up" that forces more redraw than the "Course Up" setting. You might see if the other mode works better for you. I also recommend ensuring the software is the most current because older software can be slower than the last final versions.
