I have a Navnet 3d and the radar seems to be shrinking markers as I get closer almost tot he point where they disappear before I pass them, I generally cruise with it on 1 mile and as I approach ports I zoom it in closer, is there any setting I should check or a mechanical problem ?

Depending on the model of the radar (beam angle) and where it is mounted the targets may be blocked as you move closer.
