Navnet VX2 Software upgrade

I have an older Furuno radar plotter combination model GP-1834C or it could be GP-1934C. I cannot read the writing on the warranty card. The display unit type is
RD-149. The serial number is 4326-4582. I have purchased the C-Maps card M-NA-M023-MS. This card is not currently working with the unit, and I understand the software currently installed is not compatible. As I power the unit up, I have a Program number displayed Navnet VX2 Program number 195002301.07,04. I have viewed the Navnet VX2 software history PDF file and am unable to determine the version. The sequence of numbers appears to not be in alignment with what I have. I am looking for help determining which software upgrade I need and how to obtain this. Computers are not in my abilities and am in need of any assistance available

Hi Defever, very well said. The software for Navionics (23) is in the middle of that program number so the larger issue is that unit does not contain or support C-map (24). So the core software number beginning "19500" is common to all Vx2s. "23=Navionics 24= C-map" then the program version number, then the boot loader number. So your unit is running v1.07 Navionics software with boot loader 4. Not only is it Navionics but it dates back to 2006 and very old.

You need 10.4" CCFL C-map conversion software and update the unit to v4.03. Because conversion software is a bit forceful and not something to be used on the wrong unit type, it is not posted publicly. You would need to contact support directly to obtain the software but 1.07 should both convert and update to the newest in a matter of minutes. You will need a 2GB SD card. Anything bigger will not be seen by the Vx2 and won't work.
