Adding FA-50 to existing Navnet VX2 hub

Hi Everyone!

I am adding an FA-50 to an existing Navnet Vx2 system. The VX2 system includes a 10.4" and 7" vx2 displays, ETR network sounder, 3.5' open 4kw analog radar, TimeZero PC, and 2 simrad AP26's (I assume connected to NMEA0183 via the 10.4" navnet display).

If I connect the FA-50 to the vx2 network hub and configure it properly, will the AIS data be shared "on the network" so that the navnet displays and the Timezero PC all get AIS data? From reading the FA-50 operators manual that appears to be what will happen but I am not convinced. Part of me thinks it will only be shared to the TimeZero PC?

Any help as I embark on this upgrade is greatly appreciated.

The FA50 will share with the NAVnet vx2 (NN2) and TimeZero software over Ethernet. Please ensure that you have the final version of software for the NN2.
