Fish finder screen intermittent scrolling on 13XL?

Boat was launched on April 3rd and have made several half day fishing trips with no fish finder problems with the internal sounder on the 13XL. Also get excellent fish detection with B175HW/12 transducer. In the last couple of days, the fish finder screen scrolling starts and stops intermittently. Water temp is about 50 degrees F. Checked transducer cable and connections and these look good. Any thoughts on what may be causing this? Transducer is just over a year old and has been working perfectly since install.

what software version are you running on the tztxl 13? the latest software is 26.11

have you tried to reset echo sounder to default settings ? its on the echo sounder menu. see if that helps you out with your issue.

Tried that. Didn’t help.

How many XL displays do you have? If you have more than one, ensure that the fish finder source is set to the correct display. Also, did you try both resets at the bottom of the fish finder menu (hardware and settings to default)?

Only 1 display. Yes, tried both resets.

The bare wire in the power cable and the ground lug on the display...are they both connected to your bonding system (i.e. Dynaplate) or to the negative DC if you don't have a bonding system? If not, please connect them and try it.

Yes. Grounded and still skipping.

I also tried disconnecting the B175HW and connecting the old B60 and it does the same thing so I reconnected the B175HW.

Have you tried a Memory Cache clear and Factory Default (Delete All Settings) in the system menu. If not, backup all your user objects, tracks and settings before doing it. System menu is in Home-Settings-Initial Setup-Service/Self Test/Log, choose Service and OK. Then, once in service mode, touch Utility tab, touch setup next to Factory Reset Setup. Do the Factory Default(Delete All Settings) first, then the Memory Cache Clear second.

The good news is that was not nearly as painful as I thought it would be. First time doing cloud backup/restore. Much easier than the old way. Bad news is it didn’t fix the problem 100%. It is better than it was but screen still stops intermittently and not for as long. Not as bad as it was before. Much more usable as is but not ideal. Running much more consistently now. What would cause this? No settings were changed.

This morning it is back to skipping as much as it was. Very intermittent scrolling.

After it warmed up for about 5 minutes, it appears to be doing better.
