I have a DRS4D that is at about 220 hours standby and about 20 hours Tx time. Was talking to my dealer and he said that the standby and Tx time is the same as it relates to the life of the magnetron. I'm no where near that point but would like to know if this is correct?
If so, seems like on days were I know that the radar will not be used I should leave it powered off. Up till now I've always thought that if it's not transmitting then it's not using the magnetron. Would be nice to know which is correct.
