Hello all want to chart update my 3 tzt3's.
Is C map wide still the best option? I believe cmor is also on the units. I fish the gulf

I would recommend looking over all the MM3 available charts of your area using our Chart download filter at our website. It depends on what your looking for. For wide Navigation needs along with good bathy line charts (fishing charts), I would recommend C-map. For select bathy photo of relief bathy CMOR is very nice but a bit limited coverage area and costs a bit more. Some people buy both. If you have an existing license to MM3 c-map you can get a upgrade price from you dealer (normally half price) normal cost. CMOR charts are purchased directly from CMOR and not aware of any discounts on upgrade.

2 of my tzt3 are from 2022 will they still have the the MM3 C-Map loaded onto them ready to unlock after I buy the code? Specifically looking for MMA-VNA-023 to unlock

Yes, even current unlock codes are backwards compatible and will unlock the older loaded map for which the code is designed. It would be recommended to consider upgrading the map to the most current licensed when time is available. MM3-VNA-023 would have been preloaded at that time so unless someone removed it, current purchased unlock code should unlock it. Ensure after unlocking to change the chart type to "C-map" so it can be viewable.
