Hello Gang. New to forum.
I have a 02'' Venture 34' with a vx2 network. I have been disappointed in my sounder for a while and decided to upgrade the bbff to the dff1. upgrade went well except when I trailed the boat the display looked the same. I currently have a 1kw thru the haul transducer. display shows half inch broken bottom at 40'. thin line at 100' no detail in the column in either. at 150' no bottom line at all unless i stop the boat. I am guessing now to upgrade the transducer. Im looking for recommendations for this configuration unless anyone has an idea other then changing the transducer.
