1622 radar question

Hello Fishshoreman,

There is a set screw on the drive pully, attached to the motor shaft, that you can loosen. You can then lower the drive pully down the motor shaft to match the height of the main pully, and then re-tighten the set screw.

You will need a 1.5mm allen wrench for this job.

You can also try changing the tension on the belt by loosening the motor bolts and moving it slightly.

I hope this helps.

I saw that set screw but wanted to make sure before I adjusted it. If that doesn't remedy the issue I assume the tension required on the belt is minimum since the shaft is small?

Thanks for the help.

Fishshoreman,

You are correct that there isn't a huge amount of tension on the belt. Also, there isn't much "play" in the motor adjustment.

I hope this helps.
