ver. 25 TZ weather download issue

Just done the ver 25 Update to my TZT 13xl , for some reason i cannot download weather. As soon as i touch the weather Icon it logs me out and then will not want to download. Is there a setting ive missed? was working fine before the update.

Thanks Johnny, yeh i am logged into my time zero account on the machine. But as soon as i try download the weather it logs me out. On the previous ver. software i had no problem in downloading the weather.

Previous versions didn't require that you be logged into TimeZero account. Not sure why you are getting kicked out of your time zero or maybe losing wifi. I haven't seen that issue before.

make sure you have a strong wifi signal from your router or hotspot. i haven't had any issues.

thanks guys, i did initially try through a good wifi and got those images above, and now im currently trying through a hotspot. It seems to work fine for everything else. I did a "reset" via the service/utility function and then re-installed all my points and settings via the same hotspot and it worked 100% and was done in seconds. Ive tried so many different ways and its just not happening. It just logs me out.

It sounds like a problem with your TimeZero account. Ensure that you have good GPS and time/date whenever you login. You might also check your login directly on their website with you PC to ensure that you can fully login to your TZ account.

What i have noticed is that the time zero website is crazy slow and lags hectic, takes about 2 minutes to open my cloud. I have send a mail to TZ support and have not had a reply yet. im on a PC with windows 11, i use Chrome or Microsoft edge browser. And im on fibre internet. i never have any issues with accessing websites.

check this screen shot that i got off the Timezero page. i clicked on the weather tab, not sure if this would normally only show if i had a purchased product.

HI, i can confirm that the initial images i posted Sunday i had GPS signal, the rest of my testing i did not. The boat was in my workshop. However i had a conversation with Furuno tech guys in South Africa yesterday and they have had feedback that it is important to have a good GPS signal. I will be testing this today and ill feedback.

I can confirm from my own experience, I could not download weather without GPS signal. Once I had received position, the next time I tried was also without GPS and it worked. On my initial attempt, I had same issues as you experienced, logged out of myTimezero etc. It's working perfectly since....impressive!
