Is the TZT12F compatible with the TM185HW transducer? And if it is, will it have bottom discrimination capabilities?

Curt

The TM185HW would be compatible with TZT3 using the 10 to 12pin adapter.

Bottom discrimination does not work with that transducer and won't work with single frequency transducers.

YBR,

Keep in mind that the TM185HW 1kW Transom Mount Transducer Chirps at a range of 150kHz - 250kHz, while the TZT3 Internal Sounder Chirps in the range of: 40kHz - 225kHz.

The TM185HW will not provide any type of Bottom Discrimination Capability. It was not designed to have any type of Low Frequency Range. Bottom Discrimination requires sampling from both the High and Low Frequencies to determine what the bottom characteristics are. Mud, Rock, Sand, and Gravel all have a somewhat distinct return echo so in able to attain this you need both High & Low Frequencies giving you sampling of both these return echoes.

The TM185HW was not designed to do this. :noway

Is there a transom mount 1kw chirp transducer that span the whole frequency range the tzt3 is capable of?

YBR,

TM275LHW 1kW Transom Mount Chirp Transducer
Low & High Wide Frequency:
Low—42 kHz to 65 kHz 25° to 16° beamwidth - Maximum depth 3000 ft
High—150 kHz to 250 kHz 25° constant beamwidth - Maximum depth 500 ft

As of right now, no. I don't think any transducers on the market can do all 3 frequency's at once in one transducer housing. The only 12pin CHIRP transducers we currently sale are going to be a low/high frequency CHIRP 1kw transducer.

is TM275LHW in Tz3 work with bottom discrimination?
Also is possible tm275lhw high frecuency can dispay in tz3 screen with dff3d functions same time?

TM275LHW is not listed as a transducer that can do bottom discrimination. The B265LH is the only transducers currently that has the bottom discrimination when it comes to a CHIRP transducers and using a DFF1-UHD.

yes, you can do a 2 way split screen with your CHIRP fish finder and DFF3D sonar.
