New transducer - won't transmit?

I have seem this problem before and it related to the jumpers in the ETR being setup incorrectly. Did you check them as I suggested? It is either these jumpers or you have a unit problem that needs repair.

Thanks Johnny, can you please confirm what the jumper settings should be for the DFF1 and a 1KW transducer with a C-MAP VX2?

At least until you get everything working well, ensure the mode switches on the front are DOWN (towards the circuit board), UP, UP, DOWN.
Then check S2 dip switches on the main board. Ensure all the tops of the switches are switched away from the front of the unit, in the same direction to the back. You will find S2 almost straight in line with the RJ45 network connector about half way up the circuit board. I expect it is one of these switches that is out of place.

:respect :respect Nailed it again Johnny, I had the S2 Switches reversed, powered right up in feet. Thanks again! :jump :jump

Hi I am wanting to do away with my hub as it no longer needed . To connect the DFF1 direct into RDP149(VX2) can i use the current MJ-6SRMD/TM11AP8-005 into MJ-A6SPF0014-100 cables to go direct to the vx2 ,Does it matter what port i plug it into ? .
Thanks in advance Cheers Scott
