Hello. I am looking at installing an FCV800 with a B285HW Chirp and a B260 CW transducer. I want to transmit on the B285HW transducer and display that on screen full time. I want the B260 low frequency running in the background for use of hardness output to a TimeZero install. In reviewing the manual, I understand the different display modes, as well as the ability to turn on/off each transducer port and then in the sounder menu adjust the tx power. So here are my questions -
1) If I have the 2 transducers connected and both XDCR ports set to on, will the unit be transmitting across all 3 frequency ranges (the Chirp high wide, the CW high and the CW low) all the time regardless of what display mode I am running (including have a nav display up) or are only displays actively being viewed transmitted?
2) Does the FCV800 operate similar to documentation I have found for the FCV1150 regarding output of bottom hardness where the bottom hardness output sentence will send the CW low freq as the hardness sentence whenever it is available regardless of what other frequencies may also be transmitted at that time?
3) If I set the sounder menu tx power option to 0, will that affect the transmission power across all frequencies simultaneously?
4) If I set the display to use Chirp HW and CW low split, will the CW high still transmit?
5) In short, what I am trying to determine, is there a way to transmit only the Chirp HW and the CW low at the same time while viewing the Chirp HW on screen and outputting the CW low hardness sentence (ideally with CW high not transmitting)?
Thank you.
