New to site need help with my Furuno models.

When I go to Furuno site I try my serial # and model # says can’t find trying to understand what I have to check for updates etc….thanks in advance. Tried to upload photos of the tags but don’t think it worked

Also is there a way to calibrate the GPS. When Im fishing and where it shows my position is off by a god bit.

You have very old software (1.06) that dates back to 2005 and the unit would require a hardware update along with a software update at the service center. If you position is off it could be related to the very old software or someone has setup a chart offset that should be reset.

It was an old hardware mod related to the network port. I don't think a dealer can do it. You would need to send it directly to the Furuno distributor. In the USA that is Camas WA.

GPS is probably accurate, chart position may be off. Check your latitude and longitude against another gps
