navnet vx1 display keeps restarting

I just purchased a used navnet vx1 1800 series display and radar Antenna and GPS
After hooking it up it starts fine and runs awesome but reboots itself after about 5-10 minutes and keeps restarting over and over. It seems to be running hot as well. Could this be a specific common worn diode or capacitor issue., or possible bad connection?
It came with a full nema compatible network interface, auto compass, radar and chart card, and GPS hardware. It just wont continuously run more than 10 minutes without rebooting.... Is there a simple solution.

It sounds like one or both of your internal fans are not working and the unit is overheating.
I recommend you get this evaluated for repair before you damage something where it stops working entirely.
