Furuno RDP-149

Hi All,

I have a Furuno RDP-149 with navnet running software ver 195002301. 06, 03 Navionics Gold.

After restoring marks from sd card it has gone into a hung status, performed power resets but just boots to the screen advising program No and no buttons work. Please advise a link were I can download the navionics s/w to re-install and fix.

The software in your unit is extremely old (2005). You have waited a bit long to think about upgrading. The software posted nowadays will not work in your unit. Please open an official support case with your Furuno distributor. If you are in North America that is at www.FurunoUSA.com - Support - Ask Furuno a question.

Thanks Johnny, the unit has been great and I never updated it because it just worked...

I resolved the issue and have posted the link for other users who will one day get stuck and need the software.

Updated to 4.0.1 and all good, go to link below and click on the software tab if you need the update.

The software under the product normally will only update units 1.08 or better. Yours being 1.06; I am surprised it worked for you. Glad to hear you got fixed up.
