DRS4W operate as a WiFi client?

Can the DRS4W operate as a WiFi client to join an existing WiFi access point rather than as an access point? Perhaps with custom firmware or an undocumented setting? It would be great to be able to have the radar join my existing on-board WiFi network rather than to dedicate an iOS device to talk just to the radar over WiFi and to not have to have an additional piece of hardware or software to essentially spoof the iOS device connection to the the radar acting as an access point.

Unfortunately no, with current software the modem in the DRS4W is transmit only.
