SCX-21 with IFN2K

Is the SCX-21 with IFN2K a viable option? I assume that you would have to use a serial connection to configure/update the SCX-21 and then connect it to the N2k network through the converter..

There is a BNIB SCX-21 on ebay.. Probably not worth the hassle though..

Thank you for the inquiry.

In order to program the SCx21 you will need a RS422 to USB capable and download the SC Tool software from our website. Then you could use a converter like the IF-NMEA2k2 to convert 0183 data to N2K.

Or you could use a GP39 if you have one handy.

My recommendation, if you need N2K I would contact one of our dealers to ask about a price of the SCx20.
