Is there a way for the user to define a key's function to perform a series of steps (like a macro)? For example, sometimes I like the data box to show range and bearing to the cursor, but other times I like it to show the cursor's lat/lon. Switching is time consuming -- it would be great if that could be accomplished with just a button/roto click or two.

No "Micro" type functions are available but if you right click on the cursor data box, it is very easy to select and change what is shown. (Use the right mouse click button on keypad, if you don't have a mouse.)
