Updating dff1

Working to update DFF1 to 2.05. Downloaded software to thumb drive. Go to initial setup>update network equipment. I see DFF1 in update list with check mark and click start. It says updating and then shows “NG”.

On the DFF1 itself the green LED status lights is 4 seconds on, 4 seconds off indicating factory test mode?

What display are you using to do the update? is it a PC, NavNet 3D, TZT or TZT2? What software package did you download?

The plotter is a TZT2

The software was emailed to me from tech support and downloaded to my PC desktop before being copied to the root of the flash drive.

What’s the next step??

What is the history of this DFF1? What system was it being used with prior to the upgrade attempt? What version of software was in the DFF1 before you started?

The DFF1 was working perfectly in the TZT2 system with software version 2.01 installed. I wanted 2.05 for the post processing gain adjustment....

If it was working fine with the TZT2, the best way to upgrade it would be via the TZT2 and not a PC. Have you tried using the TZT2 sensor update program? I am a bit concerned about the light status you have showing on the DFF1. That sounds more like an error light or a dip switch out of place. You haven't touched any dips since it was working correctly?
