TZTouch2 PM111-LH

I had a PM111-LH installed a few years ago and have been running it with a FCV295 and have never gotten the picture I had hoped for. Next I bought a DFF3 to hook it to my TZTouch2, but after speaking to Furuno support, they did not recommend that combination.
Before I continue to randomly buy stuff to try, what suggestions do you all recommend. What combination of the two have worked well for any of you that have had the PM111-LH with a TZTouch?
I’ve considered the DFF3-UHD, but again I need opinions.
My fishing is 90% bottom fishing with occasional deep dropping and some offshore Tuna fishing.

As a 2KW transducer, running it with the FCV295 is a great CW option because you can choose your freqs within the bandwidth of the transducer. Going out deep one day you can lower your freqs but going out in the shallows the next you can raise your freqs. If you wish to run the entire transducer bandwidth range with a Chirp machine then it would need to be a TZ3 with the DI box or the DFF3-UHD.
