TZT9 Internal Antenna Issues

I have recently installed a TZT9 MFD with a DRS4D Radar Sensor in my Luhrs 320 Open Sportfisher, the Radar is working fine but I can not get the GPS/Chartplotter features on the TZT9 to work. I was under the impression that the TZT9 has a built in Antenna? Is this not true? I see a GP330B Antenna that is an option but is necessary for the the GPS/Chartplotter feature to work? Any and all advice would be appreciated :huh

It isn't true. The TZT9 has never offered an internal GPS. Maybe you were confusing the 9" GP1971F unit during your research because it has one. You will need to wire in a good source of GPS to fully use the Plotter functions.

Johnny, Thank you... you are correct. I added the Furuno 330B GPS Receiver and my TZT9 works great. Sorry I got some bad info, this is my first go-around with a MFD... there is a lot to learn.
Thanks again, Bill B

Good morning. Thanks, Johnny, for your invaluable services. I have a question regarding the TZT9 antenna you need. I see the 330B will work for you. I wonder if the 320B will work for you. Thank you very much.

The GP320B was affected by GPS rollover and will no longer provide correct date and time

Thank you very much for your reply Kraken. But does it still give the position? Since I have it and I just need the position.

You are a treasure. You can't believe how unfriendly, unbearable, and uninformed all the distributors in Spain are. I've been a business owner for 30 years and made a very good profit from serving customers with any question or request. This doesn't just happen at Furuno Spain, but with any other brand. Thank you so much for your work.

Good morning. Thank you for your kindness. Regarding the TZT9, two questions: Can the 10-pin connector of my B260 Airmar transducer be connected directly to the TZT9 display through a port, or do I have to connect it to the DFF1? Will I get ACCU-FISH and RezBoost bottom discrimination with this transducer? Thank you very much. Note to Johnny: It's true that Furuno and C MAP are impressive quality. Thanks again.

Hello from the Canary Islands. My TZT9 has been working perfectly with the radar and plotter, but I've installed the DFF1 with the Airmar B260 and the correct cable, and I can't get the moving sounder display or the transducer pulse to appear. I don't know if there's a setting in the menu to make it recognize it. It was very easy to get it to recognize peripherals on my old MFD 12, but I can't get it to work on the TZT9. And can the GP330 B antenna work connected to the NMEA 2000 input? Thank you very much.

Hijacking another person's thread isn't the best way to obtain assistance. I would first ensure that the software of the DFF1 has been updated as it might not understand how to talk to a TZT.

Johnny, thanks for your reply, but the other person is me. You need to learn to be patient with people. I was a waiter for eight years; that's where I burned through my impatience.

Bill BlackJohnny, it's impossible for anyone to get answers to any questions here, and testing could damage the equipment. If you don't mind, my question is whether I can connect the GP330B antenna to the 2000 NMEA port on the TZT9 to get position readings. Thanks.
SD, it seems to be in English, it can't be mine.

Johnny, I put your name in this comment to address you. AND BILL BLAK'S NAME CAME UP FIRST. I DON'T KNOW WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE PROGRAMMING.
