TZT3 to NMEA 0183 AIS?

Is it possible to connect a Standard Horizon Matrix 2150 to a TZT12F and get the AIS information so show up on the chart plotter screen? My TZT is on a N2K network, but I'm pretty sure the 2150 inly has NMEA 0183.
EDIT:
Looking at the manual, it looks like the TZT3 will only output data in 0183. I'm guessing it won't work, but if someone could confirm, I'd appreciate it.

You are correct. The TZT3 system will only output NMEA0183. This helps in providing position information to a NMEA0183 radio. The Matrix 2150 can be interfaced from it's NMEA0183 AIS output to NMEA2000 by using a NMEA0183-2000 converter. We offer a converter that is part number IF-NMEA2K2 that can take NMEA0183 AIS and put it onto the NMEA2000 backbone and seen by the TZT3 system.
