Tzt12F does not show Cmor maps

I have a Tzt12F on my boat. I just purchased the unlock code for the Cmor California map. The Furuno unit does not show any Cmor maps in the chart list. I looked at the filter settings. No filters that could block it. I pulled the 256g chip and looked at it on my PC. The CMOR folder is there and the correct map is in the folder. I entered the unlock code on the unit. I received a message indicating the code would work if the map was on the unit. Still, no CMOR maps on the chart list.

Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this problem? Thanks

After downloading the chart must be unzipped. If it is placed on the chip still zipped, it will not show in the chart catalog.
The chart already exists on the chart card that came with the Furuno unit. I did unzip the chart I downloaded from CMOR and tried to copy it to the card (hoping it might be a new version) but windows told me the file already existed. The size of both charts were identical. There are approximately 8 CMOR maps on the memory card. none show up on the unit. Could this be an internal authority problem? Thanks

It is likely in the catalog but your overlooking it, UNLESS someone has place the file into a folder that has a special character. The machine will not processor folders with anything beyond normal alpha numerics. No dashes, underscores, Dollar signed or anything else is allowed.

Here is what I would recommend: Put the card into the machine, fire it up. Give it the first two minutes to fully index the chart card. If you already entered the unlock code; then go to the general area for which the CMOR was purchased on the plotter screen. Go to the menu - catalog and verify the shown system ID matches the one from the e-mail you received with the unlock code(s). If it does match, exit the menu and swipe up from the bottom of the plotter screen (not weather screen) and turn OFF the SAT photos under the "OVERLAYS", then look under "charts" of the swipe up and pick either raster or vector. Below that you should see "Additional chart", you need to select the CMOR chart there. If it is seen by system it should be selectable there. It should not be selected to OFF. Next zoom in on that chart very close in because CMOR only shows up at the close in ranges. Mine show up under 10nm and less.

I got it working today. The instructions you provided are right on. My folders did not have any special characters in the names.

On the chart plotter screen, I swiped up and got a menu that showed the information you mention. The CMOR map/chart was listed there. I selected it and it displayed. It still doesn't show up on the 'charts' list but I think that is correct as the CMOR data seems to be an addition to a chart not an entire chart. Thanks for the help. I don't know about that little pop up menu.
