Tz Touch 2 firmware update

Bought a boat (new to me) and it has the navnet tz touch 2. I am not sure what firmware version is installed. My question is can I just update to the most recent firmware or does it need to be updated in succession?

When there is a minimum software requirement it will be explained in the instructions. For example v6.26 is only an APP update so it requires that the OS/APP update of 6.21 be done prior if not already at that level. In general, an update that includes the OS will not require the software to be step upgraded. For example you can have original 1.x software and go directly to 6.21 OS/APP.

One more question. How do I determine which version is currently installed on the unit?

The best place to check software in the TZT series one is in the SENSOR LIST.
(HOME -Menu - Initial Setup - SENSOR LIST) The software of the devices will be shown in the center column.
