Internal Sounder main update failed

Has anyone run into this issue, have a tzt3 12F and running version 3.70.1 and all working fine, updated via wifi to version 3.80 and it came up with an error saying Internal Sounder main update failed, then Internal Sounder FPGA update failed.

I downloaded and tried to reinstall with USB stick and still has same error when updating. Software version says that 3.80 is installed, however when I look at internal sounder versions on self test they are all blank.

Is there a way to roll back to version 3.70.1? I tried to just install the software by usb and it does show version 3.70.1, but it does not instal sounder update. I am stuck now with no working sounder and a hardware fan fault as well, despite the fact I can hear the fan running

You can get a download link of older software via tech support but doubtful that will change anything in regards to the sounder. It might need to be evaluated at the service center. I haven't seen that before. Maybe try the USB software again without the transducer or other items connected.

Thanks for the advice, have tried to do the update with everything disconnected - still no good.

I think that I might have to rip it out and send back to Furuno
