Transferring Waypoionts from MFD8 to MFD12

I currently have an MFD8 on my boat loaded with my waypoints. I recently purchased a used MFD12 which will replace the MFD8. Both units have the 2.07 software. Is there an easy way to transfer the waypoints from the MFD8 to the MFD12? Can I use a larger SD card than 2 GB? Thanks in advance.

The MFD8 and MFD12 can read SD cards up to 32 GB if you are running 2.07 software.
It is easy to move your points from one unit to the other. Just insert the blank SD card into the unit with the points and go to your MENU - FILES - EXPORT POINTS & ROUTES. You will confirm the SD card and provide the file a name. After the file is saved, you take it to the other unit and import it. (MENU - FILES - IMPORT POINTS & ROUTES)
