If using the MFDBB for chart plotting, can I ask two questions?

1) Can individual legs of a route be entered as either rhumb line or great circle?
2) Does the x-track error and therefore autpilot respond to whether the leg is chosen as rhumb line or great circle?

(ALL) routes will be calculated as rhumb line or great circle based on your unit settings. You can’t control this by the individual legs. The Cross track error will be based on deviation from the center of the established route, regardless if that route is using rhumb line or great circle navigation.

The ability to choose rhumb line or great circle is really good news. Thank you.

Although you can't mix and match, the workaround of changing the settings is a good enough workaround.
