Hi, I'm new to this forum. First, thank you all for accepting me in. :jump
A firend of mine has a boat and they are coastal fishermen. They have the following problem.

You may see the yellow strange cirle (marked with my red arrow) in the middle of the screen and the radar reads nothing. What is this circle ? Fisherman say that it appeared suddenly and before that the radar was working great.

The radar antenna is 204cm, 96 Nm and I don't know the model. As you may see, it's very awkward situation and I wonder the reason and how it can be solved. :think

Thank you for your answers...

Good morning Mickey,

Thank you for your inquiry. It appears that the timing is off on the radar, please refer to section 3.5 in the installation manual to review the radar timing procedure. Please let us know if that fixes the issue.

If it does not, i would recommend performing a factory clear on the unit to start from all the default settings. The once the factory clear is performed the radar will need to be recommissioned.

Good Morning C-Bass,

Thank you for your swift answer. Do you think it's purely a software-settings issue and no hardware failure ?

What do you mean by "recommissioned" ?

Thank you...

I tis hard to say if it is just a settings issue or hardware based on 1 photo. We need to verify a couple of the settings in order to get a better idea what is going on.

Factory Default will clear all the settings out so you will need to go through the installation settings of the radar re-commission the radar. You can follow the procedures in the installation manual.

The other option is to get a technician on board to look over the radar and diagnose what is actually occurring.

Thank you very much.

I'll give you brief and clear details in a few days. Thank you for your support and interest...

Hi,
It's been a while... Here's the update;

- Timing procedure CHECKED,
- Factory Cleared and Recomissioned,

And the problem still exists and I'm seeking advise;

Thank you for your support...

That looks like a commercial radar which we don't discuss on this consumer forum but it looks like water is in the antenna array to me. I would recommend you have your dealer inspect the array and gearbox for water damage.
