Strange screen behavior TZT3

TZT 2 Software V7
TZT 3 software V1.08
The devices work independently on a different boat.
Everything is connected correctly .

So you have two different boats with the same issue?

What I would try first is backing up the data from the units and then master resetting them both. If it is software related, it should take care of it then.

To me it seems like something might be going on the the touchscreen function and usually when we see issues with the touchscreen functions, we are getting noise or interference onto the displays.
Are all the units grounded? If they are grounded, I would disconnect the grounds and see how the unit works. If the units are not grounded, we need to try and ground them.

You have something going on that isn't normal. I recommend you open a support case with Technical support of your local distributor. If you are in the USA, that is under our website under SUPPORT - Ask a question. There is something as part of both systems that is causing some sort of software conflict. I would recommend providing support a full list of the items connected for both systems. There is most likely some commonality between both installs that is an issue. I expect it is a non-compatible device connected or a new device that most customers don't have and is causing a software bug that has yet to be discovered.

I recommend having the unit evaluated by your distributor. That isn't what we have been seeing with our TZT3 units.

I found the cause of the anomaly, this only occurs when I sync the TZT3 with "MyTimeZero" account.

This bug in Furuno software confirmed and it's TZT3 and TZT2, waiting for a reward for finding the bug.. :cool :D

I have been running a pair of TZT 3s and a TZT2 since May. I have been using TZ Cloud the whole time. My system always connects to WiFi and synchs when the boat is in my slip. I had the initial version of the TZT 3 software and the beta version of the TZT 2 update, then updated both systems when the new software was released.

None of my units have ever shown that behavior either with the original software or the updates. Reward may not come because it may not be a bug! Did you change anything else? How good is the WiFi signal to which your TZT 3s are connecting?

A software error was confirmed by the Furuno service and the TZT3 was returned to me and told me to wait for a new update.
Furuno Japan already has a problem.
WiFi has excellent and online connectivity.
I have been professionally involved in yacht installations for over 20 years. ;)

I don't doubt your credentials. Usually a software problem does not affect just a single user, however, unless there is some unique aspect to the installation. Especially in this case, many people are using the WiFi interface and Time Zero Cloud synchronization without the issue that you have experienced. It is passing strange and I am quite curious if you know more detail.

The problem is when we have boundary data active and we are online with TZ cloud.

Oh that's interesting. I don't use boundary areas, which may explain why I have never seen this problem. I might set some up to see if I can replicate it just out of perverse curiosity. Thanks.

Only the border area you need to set in TimeZero and import online to TZT3 / TZT2.
I'm in Europe so Furuno Europa service ;) .

I sent you a PM. They think it might be one of your boundary areas that is corrupt causing the problem but would like to collect some information from you to study the "bug".
