I just installed seaboard marine vessel view on my Cummins 5.9 . I had them add a nmea 2k gateway to their display this way I can plug into my nmea backbone , and see the data on my tzt3 . I see the can bus in my sensor list , and I see the gauge symbol in the home screen . The symbol is grayed out though. Was never there before so something is being seen just can’t get the data up . Any help out there ?

A simple check would be to edit a data box in the side bar and see if you have engine parameter options available such as fuel rate. You may need to manually create a custom gauge page and add boxes for what you want. That’s what I did. I have Seaboard SMX gauges with Cummins QSB 6.7 engines and all the engine data is available on my TZT3 and XL displays. I assume you have the electronic QSB 5.9s? Another check would be be to look at the NMEA 2000 PGN log to see if the engine data parameters are on the network.it may be a setup issue on your gauges. Seaboard can help with that.

Have you done the "Automatic Engine and Tank setup" when the engines are ON? If the gateway is good and the engines are properly instanced for 2000, the automatic setup should work and then when you flip to the engine pages it should show some data displayed. If you haven't set it up, it won't just show up until you do.
