I have a roughly 3 year old Sirius BBWX3 receiver used with an older Sirius Shakespeare antenna. It seems to work ok but need to remove it so I can install a SCX 20 satellite compass. The wire is very hard and corroded. What options do I have to replace just the antenna and cable or should I upgrade for some reason to the newer receiver? Is there any upgraded features with the new receiver than the BBWX3?

At this time, there is no advantage to upgrade; but there will be soon. They are working on Sirius/XM fish mapping support which will require the BBWX4.
