side scan- transom mount

Hi, will the transom mount side scan transducer work well on a deep v 24 degree deadrise boat? planning on placing it down low at the center of keel , where the drain is? inboard outboard propulsion.

@Deep Blue will likely ask you for photos of the hull from different angles. The easy answer is yes, as long as you can get clean water without turbulence, it would work.
