I've helped some people with the SCX21+GP39 combo and it's a pretty nice combo with the GP39 being able to adjust/configure the sat compass as well as display it's function. It works much like a far more expensive setup. But most of my customers want nmea2000.
Here's the idea.. If you had a special GP39 with NMEA2000 that managed the SCX20 via nmea2000, that would be awesome. And more awesomer if the special GP39 could put out sat compass data on it's 0183 wiring with a built in converter.
I would be functionally like a SC70 with fewer ports and no approval.
