SCX20/SCX21 to 1835 radar

I am contemplating adding a sat compass to our instruments and would like to have its output used to stabilize the 1835 radar as well as providing heading data. The 1835 radar has AD-10 format input for this, and I don't see that available from the SCX20/SCX21. Has anyone addressed this?
Thanks

The 1835 radar support use of AD10 or NMEA heading. AD10 is an older 4 wire binary type format that is no longer used and has been slowly phased out. The 1835 is flexible so it can accept either format. From the SCX21 the 1835 would use RS422 NMEA 0183 or via a NMEA converter feeding from a 2000 bus with something like the SCX20.

Thanks Johnny. I have NMEA 0183 connected to input AIS data and I thought heading data. Somehow it doesn't stabilize as well as my PG-500 input via AD-10. Therefore I was leery of going that route. Perhaps I can increase the baud rate to the 1835. I would have to swap out the PG-500 for the sat compass due to space issues.

Yes, if I recall they recommend 38,400 baud heading. PG500 needs compensation time when the SCX20 won't. An SCX20 will provide better stable heading than any fluxgate compass or most other sat compasses for that matter. Getting hands one one is the hard part.
