Question,
Under the TZTOUCH3, Data Source, show the SCX-20- with a Magnetic Variation of 13.1 W. I will like to change that value. How can I do it? and And what would be the steps to do it?

Greetings Frankiepr, Furuno units are pre-programmed with all the earth's magnetic variation. This parameter doesn't seem to be something you can easily offset via the TZTouch3 or via the SCX-20 menu, however you can with one of Furuno's GPS/WAAS Navigators like the GP33 (NMEA2000) or the GP39 (NMEA0183). If you have a Furuno GPS/WAAS Navigator, set [COG/BRG ref.] on the Plotter Setup menu to [Mag] to use magnetic variation. Then (if necessary) change coordinates from East to West or West to East. Enter the value referring to a recent nautical chart (e.g. 13.1 W), press the ENT key. Then on the TZTouch3 go to HOME > SETTINGS > Initial Setup > Data Sources and select the GP33 for Mag Var.

@frankiepr Just to be clear...The TZTouch3 and SCX20 do not have a manual magnetic variation input or offset capability. The only way to change it is to interface another GPS unit that offers that capability and set the TZTouch3's data source for magnetic variation to that GPS.
