The TZT2-12 is where i would like to go but i have concerns about being able to use the touch screen in any kind of real weather (Georgian Bay). I was thinking of getting the MCU002 remote as the actions/controls seem to be more positive. Any opinions, please?

I would have you consider using the MCU-004 which is the remote control unit for use with NavNet TZtouch2 (Models: TZTL12F/15F).

The MCU004 Features a large rotary knob with joystick, including edge swipe capability, that the MCU-002 doesn't have. You can connect the MCU-004 to a TZTouch2 by use of the unit's USB Connector.
