Hello,
I have a RDP-149 display with bricked firmware. Very stupid. First i updated the firmware to version 4.01. I also changed the backup battery and everything is working. Then I installed everything back in the ship. Powered the unit up. One beep, no screen.. so i pressed and hold the power button to turn the unit off and tried it again.. Nothing.
Long story short, i placed the wrong SD card back in the unit. Not the card with the maps on it but the cart with the firmware. I think when i first powered the unit on, the display was starting the update again with i accidentally aborted. :angry
Is there a way to bring the unit back to life? I am an electronics repair engineer en have several programmers for flash chips, eeproms and cables.
Kind Regards,
Martin
