Radar Repeater not working

I have a model 841 mark 2 radar with model FMD 811 repeater. Radar unit works fine, but the repeater displays only the background information. In other words, everything works except the actual radar returns. Looking for ideas where to start troubleshooting. It's been this way since I bought the boat. Thanks

The antenna cable for the repeater might have one or more wires broken. You might try checking the wires with a multi-meter. If the cable is good, it sounds like the old FMD811 repeater has an issue that would need to be evaluated for repair or replace the unit with a newer type of FMD display.
