Radar Help Please

Yes, the Data3 Port monitor is where I see the AIS
Yes, AIS is selected as Input Sensor Type.
Can I use the combined output of AIS and GPS data at 38400 on the input signal to provide position along with AIS data?
When I use the rotokey to select Targets, I press it and AIS comes up along with History.
When I press it again the light on the AIS turns green, but nothing changes on the plotter display.
Also, when I bring Targets up again with the rotokey, the green light is not lit.
Yes, you can use combined output at 38400 if you ensure that the baud rate for Data3 is set to 38400.
When you select AIS in targets and see the targets with history, just let it time out and AIS will remain selected with green light. If you press rotokey again, you're actually turning it back off.

You tell the MFD what info is coming in on what port using the Input Sensor Type box for the port the information is on. Then, you select the source you want to be primary in the Global-Data Sources tab. It'll use the one you selected first and if that fails it'll go to the other input.
Thank you, again for your kind assistance. I now have AIS targets displayed on the plotter.
I have ordered a cable to use the DRS port on the MFD12 to power the radar unit. Should be here Thursday.
You will be pleased to learn that this Furuno Radar will be replacing a Ratheon radar.

I am using a Furuno GP-37 GPS, but while it is working to show position of the boat, the GPS Status screen has no information. Is there an additional step to take to display satellite strenth, DoP, etc. on the MFD12?

That information for the GP37 can be viewed on the GP37 itself. What do you have the Data1 setting set to in the I/O Settings menu of the GP37? It would have to be REM1 or REM2, not AP. Even then, I'm not sure the GPS information will be displayed on the MFD12 because back in 2020, the GP37 was made obsolete due to GPS rollover. The recommendation to fix that was to replace it with a GP39.
