PG500R or PG700

Hi:

What is the best (preferred) heading sensor for the Navnet 3D? I have seen the PG-500R used in many installs but it seems that the PG-700 would be just as good if not better if there is an existing NEMA200 network in use with the NavNet 3D.

Any drawbacks to using the PG700 with the Navnet3D?

The primary use of this heading sensor input would be to allow the radar overlay function.

Thanks,

If you already have a N2K network on the NN3D system then using the PG700 might be an easier install.
There is no disadvantage to it.
