Onwa heading to MFD12 problem

I connected the Onwa heading sensor to my Navnet 3D ( MFD12 and MFDBB MPU-001. The blackbox MPU001 can get a position and heading well but the MFD12 doesn't ( we connected it to port 1 and set the same data). Looking at the specs, the device you are using provides RS232 level data. Certified NMEA 0183 is at RS422 levels. The NAVNet complies with NMEA standards and uses RS422. Do you have a proper level converter (RS232 to RS422) between this device and your NMEA inputs?

I connected the ONWA sensor to Furuno radar (VX1 and VX2 display) via orinal Furuno GP32 power cable and they work well. This is my first time using NN3D. I can not find a RS232 to RS422 level converter , it seems not popular in my area. I searched and found some one on internet and I am not sure if it is correct. Please see my attachments and advise which one. Thank you

0183 needs to be the correct level particularly if you are splitting it to multiple places. If you have more than two listeners, you might also need something that will amplify so there isn't too much load on the device. There are many off the shelf RS232 to RS422 converters and I can't say I have tested them all or have a preference. Given a preference, I likely wouldn't be using the ONWA sensor as version 2 NMEA which it puts our can't be NMEA certified as v2 is when NMEA started requiring RS422 to obtain certification. Sometimes cheap is just that and when at sea it not the time to have difficulties.
