new to me rdp-149

Hey guys first post up here in the Furuno forums. I just purchased a RDP-149 unit. It does not have a nav card in it. I power up the unit and it beeps and then displays the main logo screen. After e few seconds it goes blank except for the blue loading bar on the bottom. What going on? Thanks, Jeremy

It sounds like the software load in the unit is damaged. Normally reprogramming the unit with upgrade software will restore it to operations. I would recommend downloading the upgrade instructions and software from our website under the product model.
