Hello

I am wanting to get a furuno set up. Unhappy with my Simrad setup.

I fish 100/300 feet the most but on occasion il fish up to 1500 feet.

Unsure whether to go this way....
Looking at TZT2 15" with dff3 paired with 3kw 38kHz transducer and a 2kw 200khz transducer. From what I understand these are not chirp. Is this correct?

Or alternatively getting a fcv 295 with the same transducers.

What way shall I go. Any feedback appreciated.

Will also have Nav net 711c auto pilot and drs4d nxt radar.

You are correct that the DFF3 is not CHIRP. However it is quite good as a deep water sounder and with those transducers it should serve you well.

The TZTL15F also contains a 1kW sounder with our RezBoost technology as well as bottom discrimination. If you add one of our RezBoost/BD transducers (http://www.furunousa.com/products/produ ... +Touch+MFD) you will get Chirp like performance and bottom discrimination when you are doing your shallow water fishing. You will be able to switch sounders from the menu on the TZT2.
