New Chirp Side Scan Transducers

Johnny, this is exciting news.

I have a pretty typical 29' center console boat with twin outboards, 25 degree deadrise, I think, at the transom. There is a transducer pad at the keel towards the transom, but I have a very flush mounted 165T/PM542LM mounted there.

Question, any thoughts, advice or recommendations that you can offer on the mounting of the new transom mount side scan transducer, right between the outboards................and, thoughts on it being about 24" behind a flush mount transducer?

If the existing transducer is properly flush mount it should not be a problem.
If you send us pics from the side and back we could give a visual assessment.
In my dealer days I would peek over the back of the boat while underway to see if the water looked "clean" coming across the area I wanted to mount the transducer.
