NAVPILOT 720 backward compatibility with NAVPILOT 520

Hi,

My NAVPILOT 520 handheld unit has recently stopped working after 7 years of good service.

Can I replace just the handheld unit with the NAVPILOT 720 handheld unit? In addition is the NAVPILOT 720 compatible in terms of the NAVPILOT 520's cable plug and the control unit interface?

The logic is I already have all the other components installed for the NAVPILOT 520 and they appear still to be in good working order so would prefer not to replace them with the 720 control unit etc.

You cannot use a 720 control head with the NavPilot 500 system.
However, we still have 520 control heads available. They are part number FAP5021.
