The manual saying the menu enables PGN's to be "Output to the NAVpilot" is definitely incorrect. How would it "output to" itself? That's actually the definition of an oxymoron. It would "send" or even "output from" itself... I would suggest....
“This display shows all the NMEA 2000 Sentences that can be output from the NAVpilot to connected NMEA 2000/CANbus.”
“This display shows all the NMEA 2000 Sentences that can be sent from the NAVpilot to connected NMEA 2000/CANbus.”
You get the idea. Why leave any room for confusion. The technical literature should be clear and irrefutable. Think of the time it has already costed us, imagine what it has cost others...just for the lack of a word or two.
Thanks...I initially thought only the "rudder" PGN should be output...then I started to turn on some more PGN's when I thought that the menu was to enable what the NAVpilot receives (like GPS data from the TZT). I will disable those ASAP.
