Question, I have a Navnet 1 10 inch installed with a DFF1, P 66, Just acquired a Navnet3D 12 inch. What improvement would i see betweenness the two. Trying to figure out if I should keep the NN1 as a FF and have the 3D as my navigation screen or take out the 1 and just run the 3D?
Thanks

If you have no radar, I see no reason to keep the old NN1. You really want to compare a 2002 unit with a 2020 unit? That isn't so easy and almost always lends itself to the newer technology.

Johnny, Sorry it’s a navnet 3D. Not sure if I have enough space for both. I’m now thinking about replacing the navnet 1 with the GP1971F. This is a new boat to me and just trying to get it set up. Thanks

Any radar you have with NN3D would work with the TZT3 but you might have to update the software and maybe get a radar power supply depending on how it is currently powered. Much depends on what is on the system but almost any accessory used by the NN3D can move forward into the TZT3. You might want to call into tech support and discuss your current system with them.

Johnny, Ended up buying a used 8” NN3D to go with the 12” NN3D. Going to install Using a BBWX2. Can I use this hub instead of the 101 to share info between the two? How would I connect them with the DF1? Thank you.

Yes you can use it instead of the hub101 if the four ports are enough for your entire system.
The BBWX2 has four ports. You can put the MFD12 in one, MFD8 in another, and the DFF1 in the third. Power sync should be turned on for all three items. (the BBWX2 has power sync switches just like the hub101 does)

Have everything working now. Receiving this code on the MFD8.
Your system ID(SIDD01E03A4DBEBB4CCD) is unavailable. Your charts will still be available during the next 25 launches.
Thank you.

Your MFD8 which has the pop up is looking for the old master unit it was on the network with which that held the chart licences for the other guys system. If you purchased it used, you should factory clear it and then run the setup wizard to get it working for your installation. (You can factory clear an MFD8 by holding CLEAR on power up until the wizard comes up)
